Details
A haloed sapphire pear above a larger one, each hinged separately so they move out of step with each other. Worn at the level of the eye and lit by whatever the room gives them, that half-beat between the two drops is the piece.

Set claw with full halo, double hinge, and finished on every surface the wearer touches rather than only the ones a photograph reaches. Each piece in the house is made once and is not repeated.

Care
Emerald is softer than diamond and is cut with its inclusions rather than against them, so it dislikes heat, ultrasonic baths and solvents — including the alcohol in most perfume. Clean it with a soft brush, warm water and nothing else.
Platinum does not tarnish. It moves: over years the surface gathers a fine matte patina, which is the metal displacing rather than wearing away, and which a polisher can return to a mirror whenever you would rather have one.
