A graduated run of fancy champagne diamonds that warms as it descends, closing on a single oval of the deepest colour in the parcel. The house buys champagne rough by the tone rather than the carat: the point of the piece is that twenty-one stones read as one colour moving, not as twenty-one stones.

Care
Emerald is softer than diamond and is cut with its inclusions rather than against them, so it dislikes heat, ultrasonic baths and solvents — including the alcohol in most perfume. Clean it with a soft brush, warm water and nothing else.
Platinum does not tarnish. It moves: over years the surface gathers a fine matte patina, which is the metal displacing rather than wearing away, and which a polisher can return to a mirror whenever you would rather have one.
