A tennis bracelet that is not one width the whole way round: the stones graduate down toward the clasp, so the weight sits at the front of the wrist and the piece stops rotating. It is the difference between a bracelet you adjust all evening and one you forget you are wearing.

Care
Emerald is softer than diamond and is cut with its inclusions rather than against them, so it dislikes heat, ultrasonic baths and solvents — including the alcohol in most perfume. Clean it with a soft brush, warm water and nothing else.
Platinum does not tarnish. It moves: over years the surface gathers a fine matte patina, which is the metal displacing rather than wearing away, and which a polisher can return to a mirror whenever you would rather have one.
